2020's Ten Buck BOM kicked off in January but you may still be able to participate! Call us at (561) 447-4147 or stop by the shop to see how. You will have to pay $10 for each month missed.
Here is how the Ten Buck BOM (AKA Second Saturday Sampler) works: - Choose your color family (Winter or Summer) and sign up by paying the $10 registration. You may only register for one. Click here if you would prefer the Winter colorway. - Come to StitchCraft on the Second Saturday of January to pick up your first block - the pattern and the fabric. Be entertained by Johanna and Raine and receive any explanation of the block. Sessions are at 10 AM or 1 PM - Complete your block at home before the next month's second Saturday. Bring your finished block to the next Second Saturday. YOU must come with YOUR block FINISHED to receive the next block pattern and fabric for FREE! - Repeat the above every month! Blocks finish at 12" and this sampler goes for 12 months. If you keep up, you could have a completed 12 block sampler for only $10!
More Info and Answers to Common Questions: If you do not have your block finished you must "buy in" and pay $10 for the next block's pattern and fabric. Each month is a different block and you do not find out what it looks like until the Second Saturday. The 10 AM and 1 PM sessions tend to run 30-60 minutes. Afternoons are usually less crowded. If you absolutely cannot come in for one of the sessions you can still bring your completed block THAT DAY and pick up your next block free. Don't like a color or fabric (or make a boo boo)? You may add or substitute from your own stash – as long as you have a finished block. Unfortunately we cannot mail a $10 Buck BOM block. At the end of the year – we will display our finishing ideas. You are free to finish the quilt blocks in any way you choose! We promise to try and make each second Saturday a fun, creative, social, and informative experience.
